Tool Fusion complies with global data protection regulations, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
1. Information We Collect
Tool Fusion is designed with a privacy-by-design philosophy. We minimize data collection to only what is strictly necessary to operate our online tools:
- Media Files: Files you upload (images, videos, GIFs) to be processed, converted, or compressed. These files are processed on isolated cloud servers and are never shared or inspected.
- Anonymous Technical Data: Tool usage counts, file sizes, conversion speed, browser user-agent, and error logs to monitor infrastructure health.
- Server Logs: Standard HTTP request logs (IP address, requested path, timestamp) maintained temporarily for security and rate-limiting purposes.
2. File Storage and Automatic Deletion Policy
Your uploaded media files are held in temporary storage solely for the duration of the requested processing operation. All uploaded files and generated outputs are permanently and automatically deleted from our servers within 30 minutes of creation. We do not create permanent archives, backup copies, or derivative works of your media.
3. Cookies & Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense Notice)
Tool Fusion displays advertisements to remain 100% free for users worldwide. We partner with third-party advertising networks, primarily Google AdSense.
Third-Party Vendor Notice: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Tool Fusion or other websites across the Internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Opting Out of Personalized Advertising: Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ad Settings (My Ad Center). Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
4. Google Consent Mode v2 & Cookie Preferences
For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Tool Fusion implements Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all non-essential advertising and analytics storage signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) are set to denied until affirmative consent is provided via our Cookie Consent Manager. Users can update their preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the footer.
5. Analytics & Third-Party Infrastructure
We work with trusted infrastructure and analytics partners:
- Google Analytics (GA4): Collects anonymized, aggregated traffic data under user consent to help us optimize user experience.
- ZenithDeck & Cloudflare: Used for performance measurement, DDoS mitigation, and search optimization metrics.
6. Your Rights under GDPR and CCPA
Regardless of your geographic location, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of any non-essential data collection. Because we do not require user accounts or store personal files permanently, we do not retain identifiable personal databases.
